Every lawn needs to be a part of a fertilization and weed control program. Our program integrates the management of all weeds and grub worms. Under our program, you can expect us to:

• Identify and treat for weeds and other lawn diseases
• Apply the proper amount of fertilization
• Distribute pre-emergent and post-emergent chemicals for weed control lawn care

Our Fertilization Program:

Our Flower Mound Lawn Care company has developed a fertilization and weed control program that keeps yard thick, healthy, and free of weeds. This program was developed by the Texas Department of Agriculture and is monitored by the State of Texas.

Fertilization – We use a granular fertilizer that is high in nitrogen. Nitrogen is the element that is most lacking in North Texas’ high-alkaline clay soil. We apply this fertilizer regularly Spring through Fall, typically four (4) to eight (8) weeks apart.

Pre-Emergent Weed Control – The best way to have a weed-free lawn is to apply a pre-emergent to the yard. These pre-emergent herbicides stop many different types of weeds and grasses from germinating. Among the top plants affected are crabgrass, dallisgrass, clover, henbit, and other grassy and broadleaf weeds.

Post-Emergent Weed Control – If you’re lawn has weeds in it, it’s time to use a post-emergent herbicide. If spotted, our licensed technician will spray a chemical that is a specifically designed to target broadleaf and grassy weeds. Over the course of two weeks, you will see treated weeds wither and die.

Our Insect & Grub Worm Control:

Insect Control – Throughout the year, we will apply a product to control lawn-destroying insects like grubs, worms, and more.

Fire Ant Control – Our technicians are trained to reactively treat for any ant mounds on the property. However, there is no guarantee that the ant mound will not pop-up in a different location.
